African American Economic Solutions Summit

With an estimated $4 billion dollars spent in the Minnesota Economy annually by the African American community a lot of us began to wonder where that money was going, and to whom? The lack of clarity around this issue has been a catalyst for forming the African American Economics Solutions Summit. Through the collaborative efforts with African American community members, organizers, authors, scholars, and business professionals, we come together to examine & develop solutions to:

• The LACK of use of the economic cycle in the African American Community.
• Insolvent relationships with lending institutions both statewide and nationally.
• Who stands to benefit from this pauperized conditioning of African Americans?
• How do we advance our own economic solutions using domestic(?) resources?

Keynote Speakers including:

Mahmoud ElKati

Dr. Rose Brewer

Sam Grant

Pro. Nekima Levy-Pounds
