NOC presents Community Forum on Black America with Jill Stein

NOC is proud to present our second community forum on Black America with a presidential candidate. This forum, featuring Green Party nominee Jill Stein, will take place on Tuesday, August 16, at the historic Capri Theater.

The forum will focus on the Black experience in America, and specifically in Minnesota, home to some of the worst racial disparities in the country. Topics will include how the federal government can divest public resources from structures that cause and widen our racial disparities, and invest in radical solutions being developed in Black communities and other communities of color.

The forum does not represent the endorsement of a candidate. An invitation has been extended to Hillary Clinton for a similar forum.

**To guarantee a seat, you can pick up advance tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis at the office of Neighborhoods Organizing for Change, 1101 W Broadway, on Monday, August 15 at 5 pm. Tickets are free.**

Doors to the forum will open Tuesday, August 16 at 5 pm at the Capri Theater, 2027 W Broadway. The event will begin at 6 pm.

Livestreaming satellite locations will be available for those who are not able to attend in person.
