the rise. If someone tells you they can negotiate your mortgage
with your bank for you and tries to charge you a big upfront fee,
not only are they breaking Minnesota law, but they are also not
likely to produce the results you need. NOC can help you find
a reputable non-profit to help you negotiate with your bank to

NOC
has launched a campaign to spread the word about mortgage modification
scams, and help homeowners at risk for foreclosure find the right
resources.
We've
knocked on thousands of doors in the last few months, and we could
use your help to reach even more people before the wrong people
reach them first.
We've
already heard from several victims of these scams, and we've barely
begun our campaign.
