Monique White's eviction hearing

Last week, we celebrated a huge victory with Bobby Hull and his family. This week, we have another urgent opportunity to make our voices heard in support of Monique White.
Despite the inspiring outpouring of community support, US Bank and Freddie Mac are moving forward on taking her house. Monique White, after struggling like many of us with underemployment in this economy, now works two jobs and can afford to pay a mortgage. All she needs is for the banks to work something out.
On Monday, it's critical that they see all of us standing with Monique in public support and solidarity as she faces the judge in her eviction hearing. Occupy Homes, NOC, and a huge array of community allies are all meeting in the People's Plaza Monday morning at 8:00 AM. We'll hear from community and faith leaders about the banks' moral obligation to stop tearing down our community, and then we'll join Monique in the court room to show our support.
More than ever, your presence matters. Please do everything you can to be there for Monique on Monday, and show the banks that we're not going away or wavering in our support.

You should come to the courthouse tomorrow to support #moniquewhite and ask @usbank and @freddiemac to negotiate!
