Roll With Us: Transit Challenge, March 1-7

Over the past decade, public transportation funding has been flat, while ridership has been growing. As a result, people in our communities face significant challenges.

That’s why a coalition of faith, equity, transportation and environmental organizations are inviting legislators and transit riders to roll with us and take the transit challenge – spending a week experiencing the realities of today’s transit system and exposing the need for better transit services.

Many have already committed! A special thanks to Senator Scott Dibble and Lt. Gov. Tina Smith for their leadership in kicking this challenge off (and also to the other legislators listed below)

Follow the transit challenge and join the fun:

1. Post on this page: What could better transit mean to you?
2. Follow and tweet with the hashtag #HowWeRollMN on Twitter
3. Post a “selfie” of yourself with the message “Better transit means…” and post it on social media using the hashtag #HowWeRollMN

Want to find out how you can join the transit challenge in your area? Invite your legislators and other public officials to sign up at www.tinyurl.com/HowWeRollMN
