Donate to Bail Fund and Legal Support for I-94 Protesters

UPDATE: After being held for nearly 72 hours, all protesters were released thanks to your support. Most are being charged with gross misdemeanor riot, and one has been charged with felony second degree riot. Please donate for legal support for these freedom fighters.

46 protesters, including youth, union members, faith leaders of all creeds, and activists of all ages, races, and geographies, are being held in police custody on outrageous gross misdemeanor riot charges. Each is being held on a minimum of $1,500 bail for blocking traffic to demand justice, after being attacked indiscriminately by St. Paul Police and the State Patrol with tear gas, pepper spray, and rubber bullets. Meanwhile, the officer who killed Philando Castile in cold blood is on a taxpayer-sponsored paid vacation. We're partnering with Black Lives Matter Minneapolis to get these freedom fighters out of jail -- and we need your help.

We will not be intimidated. Donate now for this fight and all the future resistance fights to come. This is more than a moment, it's a movement.

That is complete mess. People just cannot live in something like this, however they also should control themselves. The article at http://www.writemyessay24h.org/writing-essays-for-money says a lot about it.

I would not spend one penny on helping any of these people out of jail in fact I hope they have to stay there for at least 30 or more days and then I hope they all get huge fines for being on the freeway and not allowing people to get to work, doctors appointments, picking up their children ect.

I gave money because sometimes change is inconvenient and we have plenty we need to change. And yep, we have a right to protest and that’s not always convenient. If folks hadn’t protested like this in years past, we’d still have child labour and Jim Crow in America!

Explain to me why I should donate to those who attempt to unlawfully detain me by blocking a freeway? Do the lives of anyone needing emergency assistance matter? Listen carefully: You have a First Amendment right to protest. Do not confuse it with a non-existent right to be heard. Endangering others does not endear me to your cause. Methods matter; two wrongs don’t make a right.

Waste of money. But, it’s your money to waste. I would rather be forced to listen to crazy fem-nazi Melody Hensley for half a day than donate to this lost, Racist cause.
